Current mood: Happy.
Hey, this comic is one year old today! (OK, yesterday, actually.)
I got some fanart for the occasion too:
- It's either an outlook on things to come, or a "what's wrong with this picture" ;) Love the colours. The black armour, too.
- An alternate take on strip #100, panel 4. Poor mAAg only had MS Paint and a mouse to work with :)
- And proof that some people should never jump out of cakes.
I also used the occasion as an excuse to finally do what I have wanted to do for at least 15 years: I got a tattoo. No, I'm normally not into bodyart at all (not on myself at least), but this one means a lot to me, and I had planned it for a long, long time. More details/pictures some other time - perhaps.
Spiky's Link of the Day:
"I'm not a number, I'm a minifig"... if I wouldn't like this site anyway, I'd like it for this reference alone. It's another fan site about LEGO, and it has castle projects and minifig history and more!
Author's notes:
OK... this is one year's worth of comics. Hmm. Not sure how I feel about this, now that I've finally drawn it it's kind of anti-climactic ... And the first panel (introducing the last character of the main cast, for now at least) turned out nothing like I had planned. As always... Originally he was going to say "Yo!" or something, but I decided at the last moment that it works better if he just stands there and smiles.
And yes, normally I don't like reusing panels -- but in this case I think it just works fine. It's kinda rare to see both Vincent and Roland speechless...
