Today's news:
It's time to mention Kiva again, a non-profit organisation that allows you to lend as little as $25 to a specific low-income entrepreneur across the globe.
I just loaned out another $25, this time to somebody in Paraguay to buy goods for his store. Because you can choose who to lend to, it really feels very personal ... much less abstract than just donating money and forgetting about it. And you're not donating -- you get your money back over time. And then you can lend it out all over again!
